Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt, da-da-da da da Dumb Narcissus’ face inverted in his pool of cum Da-da-da da da My lower half is stirring Slouching toward the fount of images How did it cum to this? How did I spill a world like this? Dumb, dumb World of dreams, world of Eves, have I cum too late? The world appears projections of my unknown face Last Man, Ugliest Man, have I cum too late? My veiled heart appears outside as Fate The gyre widens like an asshole Da-da-da da da (and this one’s really an asshole) Dumb, dumb Shaved world, bleached world, torn world, gaping world, have I cum too late? Fate Alright, alright, alright, not at all alright My shadow heart it flickers outside as light Staring out at the dumb throng DUMB Myriad faces of the Veiled One Gyrating in their soiled thongs Da-da-da da da What slumbers for me in these dreams to be born? The final face of Evil when the veil is torn The one true face of Absolute Evil when the veil is torn

I'm Normal 05:51
I’m normal I left the Chaos Realm behind me And in between my legs, no poetry or stories Tame, but still a man Wild, but still a man No war inside or out No trauma I’m not a victim or a hero I do my job, unlike some people I know The past is done with me The meeting starts at 3:00 Spine up, head down Apollo, I turn down cocaine in your honor Get that shit away from me I don’t jerk off to horror anymore Torso of my mind, dry of Bacchus’ slime Who told you otherwise?

Feet First 05:10
A panel of experts couldn’t zip up his fly The lawyer and doctor couldn’t keep his shoelaces tied Then he stepped over a line, and out the frame of our minds And when the other shoe dropped, he stumbled into Stalin’s photoshop Feet first Shot with a cocktail at his very first cry Round after round, year after year Drunk child Couldn’t be walked home, but did we really try? Yeah I tried Officials have yet to let his exile thaw I hear he’s in snow-shoes running laps in Siberia Was his breach born of fate? Was he cruelly erased? Stomped out and stamped for life? Or could labor’s boot re-educate? Feet first Shot with a cocktail at his very first cry Round after round, year after year Breech birth Couldn’t be walked home, but did we really try? Yeah I tried

Long shadow, long shadow, tell me where I’ve been Can you make it a story? I don’t mind if it bores me, as long as it makes sense Things happen, just happen, la da da , where have I been? Another episode. Will it just be a standalone? Just more time? And now it’s night, same as the morning But now I’m old, and I haven’t learned a thing And now she’s gone, now he’s returning Another one talks to God, and I haven’t learned a thing Long shadow, long shadow, how does all this end? Halfway through a sentence? The words are relentless. But so what Returning, returning la da da, how does this end? Another episode. Will it just be a standalone? Just more life? And now I’m right, now I’m mistaken, now he’s destroyed And I pray I learn something They changed their name, now Dad’s demented, now I’m in love What will tomorrow bring? And now I’m clean And now I’m wretched And now I’m clean again Another year Dice throw procession Parade of dreams, just as real as they seem

Three Worms 08:12
Three worms molest my ears again On my way home from work they work their way in 1, 2, 3 in a row, they start singing, “Bury all that work you did, and start again from nothing” The first worm is called What If The curling question fingers me with just a whiff Tease inside my head-holes Perfuming my hollows Hey man, I’m just saying, What if? Worm 2 is called Why Not In the back of my throat, just a thought bargain with my memory Amnesia mockery “Yo bro, I’m just saying, Why keep on fighting it?” I fold, invertebrate Why not Why not obey those evil friends? As I quicken my pace, my brain it starts running One by one by one, they’re chiming in “Cut yourself in half again, and just grow back on Monday” Worm the third is called Fuck It Worm the third is me His brain uncoils and slithers out Into the dirt, and now he’s free It’s gonna be a wormy weekend! Fuck it, why not?

So sheer the cliff, the sea so old Mouth agape to fuse with the indifferent mist Archaic awe That broken seal, that fatal yawn Join with time’s unbroken wind of melody Feeling small Drown the word God moves through something dumb Prayer of raw material, the wordless tongue No idea, no idea, no idea The Sacred Vowel Becoming waves, becoming stone Open word, open body, open door When I breathe, continuity, before and after me Wash the ink, my tired diary with ichor of illiterate, forgetful song Meaning nothing, meaning nothing, meaning nothing Can I just sing?
